1) For the purposes of this debate, all toys are capable of sentience (exhibiting emotions in the absence of humans/owners). If they are experiencing sadness/grief their shelf-life as a toy reduces.
2) Woody is an old/vintage stuffed toy who unconditionally loves his owner, Andy. However, Andy is soon to leave for college without him and might not ever return to play with Woody.
3) One day, a reputed toy museum makes him an offer to join the museum as an exhibit encased in glass who would live on for eternity.
